We pride ourselves in making all of the cosmetic dermal filler injections performed in our Weston, Wisconsin Medspa easy and comfortable. Whether it’s your first filler experience or you’re a filler pro, we will always discuss your goals and expectations to provide you with the absolute best treatment.
For extra-sensitive areas, such as the lips, we provide a topical numbing cream, as well as a dental block (lidocaine injections), for maximum comfort prior to treatment. For other areas of the face (cheeks, chin, etc.), an ice pack is provided for numbing as these areas are typically less sensitive. We always take care to place the injections in strategic locations to ensure an even, natural result.
Additionally, Lush Beauty Studio only uses dermal fillers that have lidocaine in the product to provide an extra layer of comfort. At most, patients describe the sensation of dermal filler as mild discomfort, while the majority feel no pain at all.

The recommended number of treatments will vary depending on the client’s personal aesthetic goals, volume loss, skin thickness, and other unique defining factors. Some clients want a very natural look and will require less filler, whereas other clients may want more dramatic changes that would require more filler.There is a delicate balance between type of filler, amount of filler, and client’s needs that will be assessed by our injectors at Lush Beauty Studio before proceeding with your injectable treatment.
Dermal filler results can be noticeable immediately following your treatment; however, the full results will be present around 2-4 weeks following treatment. Depending on location and product used, dermal filler results can be expected to last anywhere from 6 months to a year or more. Once full correction or goals have been reached, subsequent treatments may be needed less frequently.

Rest assured, should you ever want to get rid of your HA filler, there is a solution! Lush Beauty Studio carries an injectable enzyme solution called Hylenex (hyaluronidase). This enzyme is another naturally-occurring substance found in the body that is able to effectively dissolve hyaluronic acid by assisting the body’s ability to absorb the material.
This option is available per client request - for those that may be unhappy with their filler injections, and per client need - for those who may have an adverse reaction to the filler or experience a blood vessel occlusion. If HA filler is inadvertently injected into a blood vessel, it can cause negative side effects, such as skin breakdown and necrosis; however, hyaluronidase is able to reverse these effects.
While it is unlikely, vascular occlusions can happen with even the most experienced injectors. The key is knowing that we have the correct products and a plan in place to remedy these situations if they do occur.

At Lush Beauty Studio, we use a tiny insulin needle to inject precise amounts of Botox, Dysport, or Jeuveau into each area. The number of injections administered will depend on the size of the area being treated and the strength of the targeted muscle. The process is quick and relatively painless, however we do offer ice packs to our clients for extra comfort.
While our wrinkle relaxer appointments are scheduled in 45-minute slots to ensure we always have enough time for any questions, concerns, etc., the treatment itself takes only 10-15 minutes and can easily be done on your lunch break!
Botox, Dysport, and Jeuveau results are typically seen anywhere from 3 to 10 days following treatment. On average, neurotoxin results last around 3-4 months, depending on dosage and product used. After receiving a Botox, Dysport, or Jeuveau wrinkle relaxer treatment at Lush Beauty Studio, most of our patients can resume their normal routines immediately.
Tiny bumps resembling mosquito bites are common following injection, but these typically dissipate within 30 minutes of treatment. Some patients may also experience minor redness or bruising at the injection site, which can be easily covered with makeup if desired.

Botox, Dysport, and Jeuveau treatments are more popular and widely accepted in Central Wisconsin than ever before, and it is one of the safest cosmetic treatments available today.
Contrary to popular belief, the botulinum toxin protein itself is not actually a poison as it has been extensively modified into a pure form with a very diluted concentration. When injected properly into the muscle, it does not enter other areas of the body.

The number of treatments required is based on your individual goals and overall health of your skin. Most Lush Beauty Studio patients receive their Botox, Dysport, or Jeuveau treatments every 3-4 months to keep skin smooth and prevent new fine lines + wrinkles from forming.
Should you wish to stop getting treated at any time, you absolutely can! Neurotoxins will gradually fade away over a couple months and skin will return to baseline if you choose to stop treatments.

Headaches can be a common side effect of neurotoxin injections and Tylenol may be used as needed.
SCULPTRA IS AN INJECTABLE MADE UP OF POLY-L-LACTIC ACID, WHICH IS A BIOCOMPATIBLE AND BIODEGRADABLE SUBSTANCE THAT HAS BEEN USED FOR YEARS IN MEDICAL COMPONENTS, SUCH AS DISSOLVABLE SUTURES. THESE TYPES OF PRODUCTS ARE KNOWN AS “COLLAGEN STIMULATORS” AS THEY WORK TO BUILD YOUR SKIN’S OWN NATURAL COLLAGEN.
ONCE INJECTED, THE PRODUCT ITSELF DISSIPATES A FEW DAYS AFTER TREATMENT; HOWEVER, THE COLLAGEN-BUILDING PROCESS CONTINUES OVER THE FOLLOWING MONTHS. You may see some improvements within the first week of treatment; however, the most optimal and long-lasting effects will not develop until an average of 3-4 weeks as your body creates lost collagen.

Each patient will differ in how many treatments they need depending on how much excess fullness we are treating. In general, the majority of patients need about 2-4 Kybella treatments to see optimal results; however some patients may need up to 6 treatments.
Kybella is administered about 8-12 weeks apart and you should start to see some noticeable results around 4-6 weeks after treatment.

During your Kybella treatment or consultation at Lush Beauty Studio, we will examine your submental fullness to help determine how many treatment sessions you may need.
A grid-like guideline will be marked on the treatment area and injections will begin! Most patients say the injections feel like a cramping or burning sensation, while others may experience a mild tingling sensation.
Immediately following your Kybella treatment, the area under your chin will be swollen. The swelling may last anywhere from seven days to two weeks. Every client is different, so it is always possible that swelling may more or less than average.
Other potential side effects include bruising, pain, numbness, redness, or firmness of the injected area.
